The Harrisonville Wildcat soccer team won the Class 3 District 14 championship Oct. 31 with a 4-3 win over Raytown South. The team advanced to the championship with a 9-0 win over Ruskin Oct. 29. The championship game was tied at the end of regulation and at the end of the first overtime period. The Cats’ Connor Blentlinger scored the winning goal in the second OT period. This is the Cats’ second district championship in as many years. The team ended the regular season as undefeated conference champs with a conference record of 10-0.
